The proofs are in!

It's been 23 years since my last book, War on the Floor, was published. 

That means it's been almost a quarter century since the last time I opened the mail and pulled out a proof copy of my book to do one final look-through. I am so excited! This is the final step to get Healed on the Inside out into the world. 

The purpose of Healed on the Inside is a complete departure from that of War on the Floor. The latter was a collection of my experiences in the Arena Football League, aimed at providing readers with an insider's view of professional football. I wanted to sell many copies, do lots of interviews, and make lots of money.

However, with Healed on the Inside, my goal has shifted. Obviously, I would still like to have strong sales, but my purpose has taken a dramatic change of course.

Cancer has helped me grow as a human being and a writer. I can’t wait to see what Healed on the Inside accomplishes, and how it helps people!
