Jeff has known since he was a little kid that he wanted to tell stories through books. As a teenager, he spent many summer hours in his bedroom, writing his own Hardy Boys stories. By the time he was in high school, he was writing for magazines.

In 2001, Jeff published War on the Floor: An Average Guy Plays in the Arena Football League and Lives to Write About It. The book was called “an exhilarating masterpiece” by The Record (Troy, N.Y.).

Shortly after the publication of War on the Floor, Jeff founded a photography company and he spent the next 20 years documenting weddings.

Jeff was diagnosed with cancer late in 2022. He had multiple surgeries, etc., and the experience drew him closer to God and his family. It also led him to write his first book in more than 20 years — Healed On the Inside: The Power of God’s Love, a Family’s Battle with Cancer, and a Will to Live.

Healed On the Inside is the book Jeff would have wanted to receive when he was diagnosed with melanoma. It is meant to help anyone facing a crisis. It is the story of one man’s efforts to “live while he’s alive,” to continue leading a full life — with ups and downs — while battling an illness.
